About Us
Our company consists of both experienced and young researchers and engineers, who are capable of solving unique problems, using innovative ways, based on system approach and scientific knowledge.
On the one hand, our activity consist of basic research in applied materials science, based on creating new groups of materials, technology, process, or industrial property defence. Participation in Research and Development tenders is also essentially linked to our activities. On the other hand, we employ the acquired knowledge and innovative ability for the dominant companies of Hungary (MOL, EGIS, etc.), during tailor made production, by creating components that cannot be obtained on the market that fits the customer’s individual technology. Due to their nature, our unique custom made jobs show huge differences from each other. Their implementation requires a flexible project-type organization, in which it becomes necessary for our colleagues to perform diverse and innovative tasks. In addition, we regularly supplement our production capabilities by using external service providers, as it is not possible to profitably cover such product diversification with our own resources.
The successful operation of the H-ION Research, Development and Innovation Ltd in the long run can only be ensured, if we adapt the current needs of the international and domestic market. Maintaining and strengthening our company’s reputation and market position is guaranteed by our reliable and efficient quality management. We believe that the field of materials science research and development is one of the breakout points of Hungary, as it represents almost 70% of all research areas worldwide. To the best of our knowledge, we have a solution-centric approach to our partners’ problems that require materials science. We consider our activity not only as work, but also passion. Our relationships are colorful, we are involved in several collaborations, together with universities, research institutions or industrial partners. Building on our achievements in research and development, our medium-term goals include the launch of small-scale production.

The owners and managers of our company have defined individual and small series production as main market strategy. As part of the strategy, we wish to produce special equipment that cannot be obtained on the market for the leading companies in Hungary and Europe.
